The Sandbox is an Interactive Children's Museum filled with areas for hands-on educational workstations for kids to explore. The first Friday of every month, The Sandbox hosts "First Friday Fun" where admission is free and activities include face painting, balloon toss, and refreshments. The workshops offered include Reading Rainbow for Kids Reading Day and Ocean Safety. The only paid event is The Sandbox Night at The Main Street Theater, which is a movie night for kids and adults.
