Alder Lane Beach
Alder Lane Beach is one of the quieter beach locations on Hilton Head Island. Even considering that Alder Lane Beach neighbors the Mariott Grand Ocean Resort, it is generally not crowded, even in the busiest months. The beach is one of the wider ones on the island, so bringing along a wagon isn't a bad idea. Public parking is available for $1.00/hr, in quarters. This public access beach is equipped with mats to make it wheelchair accessible. Restrooms and a drink machine are also provided. Life guards are on hand during the swimming season. The Alder Lane access is the southern most access and is located off of South Forest Beach Drive at Alder Ln.
