Coligny Beach
Coligny Beach is probably Hilton Head's most popular beach. Both the beachside bar at the Holiday Inn, and the volleyball nets on the beach, draw a large crowd. This hotspot on Hilton Head Island is the perfect place to spend the day swimming, lounging, biking, or just soaking up the sun. Vacationers visiting this beach spend hours watching intense beach volleyball matches, mostly because it is much easier than playing in ninety-degree weather!
Restrooms, changing rooms, showers, and water fountains are also furnished to make the day much more enjoyable, especially if you plan on building sand castles all day with the kids! Both metered parking and a public parking lot are nearby and mats are available to make the beach wheelchair accessible. Lifeguards are on duty during swimming months, and are a hub for renting your beach necessities such as beach bikes, umbrellas, and sand trikes.
