Driessen Beach Park
Driessen Beach Park, also referred to as Singleton Beach, is one of Hilton Head's greatest beaches to spend the day with the kids. Picnic areas with benches and a grill are furnished in designated areas, and have a neighboring playground. The beach is wheelchair accessible, and a great place to bring a wagon full of sand toys. There is a long boardwalk that leads to the beach, so be prepared to haul you beach goodies down to the shoreline.
The beach provides restrooms, showers, shelters, and vending machines, making your experience more convenient as well as providing some brief refuge from the sun. There is ample pay-per-spot parking, and a little cheaper than the other beaches at fifty cents per hour. Lifeguards are on duty during swimming season. Driessen Beach Park is located mid-island, off of William Hilton Parkway, at Bradley Beach Road.
