Folly Field Beach
Folly Field Beach is hands down the most popular for surfing, body boarding, and wind surfing. The friendly beach and surf patrol in combination with the lifeguards who rent beach necessities, make Folly Field Beach a safe and fun place for the whole family. The neighboring areas provide convenient access to restaurants, and the beach has its own restrooms, showers, and water fountains. There is limited metered parking for a fee of twenty-five cents for every fifteen minutes; so arriving early is a good idea. Like many other beaches in Hilton Head, SC, special mats make this beach wheelchair accessible. Folly Field Beach is conveniently located mid-island at the end of Folly Field Road, on Starfish Road.
