Van Der Meer Shipyard Tennis Resort presents Van Der Meer Tennis Adult and Junior tennis programs. Among their instructional tennis programs, Van Der Meer Tennis offers Adult Program Three-day Clinic and Junior Summer Camps where on-site boarding is available. Juniors, from age 10, are invited to participate in the summer camps and Juniors ages 12-18 are eligible for boarding during the summer camps.
Boarded participants are housed and fed in a supervised environment. Daily instruction at the Tennis Camps include 5-6 hours of instruction per day and include Tactical Drill Sessions, Stroke and Video Analysis, Supervised Match Play, Fitness Conditioning, and Mental Toughness Training. A total of twenty tennis courts at Van Der Meer include seventeen hard courts, four of which are covered and lit, making Van Der Meer Shipyard Tennis Resort one of the largest tennis facilities on Hilton Head Island.
